COP(Ag) Stafford Liburd hosts his first Commissioner’s Lecture

Basseterre, St. Kitts- Commissioner of Police(COP) (Ag) Mr. Stafford Liburd hosted his first Lecture as Commissioner of Police (Ag) of the Royal St. Kitts and Nevis Police Force, yesterday (16th, April, 2015), at the Police Training Complex.

The lecture saw presentations from several senior officers, reporting on their various areas of responsibilities, along with the Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for crime, Mr. Ian Queeley and the Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for operations, Mr. Vaughan Henderson, and Force Personnel Officer, Mr. Osmond Petty.

Within his remarks to the attendants of the lecture, COP (Ag) Liburd thanked everyone for their support and expressed his appreciation for the hard work they have done over the last few of months.

He encouraged the officers to keep on reaching higher as law enforcers as it regards to the decrease of criminal activities; “We must work with the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force in patrolling our streets and drug eradication operations,” which is part of the strategic plan.

COP(Ag) Liburd informed the gathering that the lecture is the first of a series of lectures that would be hosted once every month.
