NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (January 24, 2019) — Residents of the Flamboyant Nursing Home were at the receiving end of a donation on January 23. 2019, from a corporate citizen on Nevis.
In a brief but significant ceremony at the Home, Dr. Ravi Chinnaswamy of the Nevis Dental Clinic handed over a number of blood pressure apparatus, glucometers and bed side tables to Ms. Shinnelle Mills, Assistant Hospital Administrator for use at the nursing home facility.
He expressed hope that the gift would assist in the resident’s comfort.
In response, Ms. Mills thanked Dr. Chinnaswamy for the donation on behalf of the Management of the Home and the Alexandra Hospital. She assured that the donated items would be used in the resident’s care.
Ms. Mills was accompanied by Ms. Donna Hanley, Nurse Manager at the Flamboyant Nursing Home.
