Creative Partnership Brightens Hospital Spaces for Young Patients

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — Doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, and visitors to the Joseph N. France Hospital will notice a vibrant artistic transformation along the corridor linking the maternity and paediatric wards, thanks to a partnership between TDC Home and Building Depot and the St. Kitts Basseterre Leo Club.

The initiative aims to enhance the hospital environment by introducing popular cartoon characters, including Dora the Explorer, Bluey, Chase from PAW Patrol, and Tweety Bird from Looney Tunes. The colourful artwork is designed to create a welcoming and comforting space that supports healing and emotional well-being for young patients and their families.

TDC Home and Building Depot contributed paint and materials needed to bring the Leo Club’s creative vision to life. Through this donation, the company continues its longstanding commitment to supporting community-based projects that improve shared spaces and overall quality of life.

Representatives of the Leo Club expressed appreciation for the partnership, noting that the support enables young volunteers to make a meaningful contribution within the healthcare setting.

The collaboration highlights the impact of corporate and youth organisations working together in service of the community and underscores a shared commitment to fostering a caring and supportive environment for children receiving medical care.

TDC Home and Building Depot remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote creativity, compassion, and community pride.
