Antigua and Barbuda were crowned champions of Leeward Islands under-19 cricket on Sunday, 20th April, when they defeated St. Kitts at Warner Park.
Antigua and Barbuda batting first scored 188 all out: Baptiste top scored with 51 not out, and Tilokani bagged 3 for 21 for St. Kitts.
The St. Kitts team in response could only muster 155 all out, with Bergan top scoring with 39 and Tonge producing the amazing figures of 4 for 12. Antigua and Barbuda won by 33 runs.
Meanwhile, in the battle for third place, St. Maarten defeated Nevis at Conaree.
Nevis scored 154 all out, with Deshawn James top scoring with 36.
St. Maarten overhauled the target in 44.4 overs, for the loss of 8 wickets, with Honore top scoring with 48.
St. Maarten won by 2 wickets.
