Cricket : Carlon Bowen Tuckett lands West Indies contract

Cricket West Indies (CWI) has confirmed its 2025/26 retainer and development contracts—and among the standout announcements is that Carlon Bowen Tuckett of Nevis has earned a place in the West Indies Academy.

Tuckett, long regarded as one of Nevis’ brightest young prospects, will now benefit from a year of high-performance training, mentoring, and structured competition under the Academy program.

The contract runs from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, and is designed to accelerate the development of emerging regional talent.

This move not only cements Tuckett’s growing reputation but also highlights Nevis’ ability to produce players capable of reaching the highest levels of West Indies cricket. His inclusion is expected to inspire a new wave of young cricketers across the island.
