Charlestown Primary versus Joycelyn Liburd Primary

Match number two in the 2023 Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools’ cricket championship, was played on Wednesday 21st June, at the ET Willet Park.

Charlestown Primary engaged the Joycelyn Liburd Primary School.

The JLPS team batted first and was off to a rocky start.

At 19 for 4, they were in a hole. However, Merchant and Elliot batted through the remaining overs, to get their team to an eventual total of 46.

Charlestown Primary in response, cruised to victory, without the loss of a wicket, with Atish Persaud and Kardeem Taylor, seeing them safely home.
