The Cricket exhibition to be hosted by the Nevis Public Library and which was previously advertised to commence on Friday 10th February will commence today, Monday 13th February.
Sources indicate that there were a few technical hitches to the plan, which caused the delay.
The exhibition is perfectly timed to commemorate the entrance of Elquemedo Willet into the West Indies Cricket team, fifty years after the fact.
Today, Stevenson Manners will make significant presentations of his recently released book: ‘The Father, Son and Offsprings’.
He will make presentations of the book to Mr. Willet and to Ms. Tessa Howell, the granddaughter of the generally accepted ‘Father of Nevis Cricket,’ John E. Howell.
He will also present books to the Nevis Public Library and the Nevis Sports Museum.
The exhibition will run until the 10th of March and members of the general public are cordially invited to view at their convenience.
