Cricket : Jamaica Beats Leewards in Super 50 Opener

The Jamaica female cricket team, got the better of their Leewards counterparts, at St. Paul’s Recreation grounds, on Monday 8th May.

This as the West Indies Cricket Board’s regional female championship, bowled off in St. Kitts.

The home team won the toss and opted to bat first.
Good knocks came from Divya Saxena, Terez Parker and Melecia Clarke.

However, the Leewards were bowled out for a below-par score of 120, with medium pacer Celina Whyte, picking up a fiver.

Jamaica lost four wickets en route to overhauling the target, including that of Skipper Stafanie Taylor.
