Cricket : Kezie Slam Dunks Windwards

Round four of the ongoing regional cricket tournament, being hosted by the West Indies Cricket Board, got underway in Trinidad on Wednesday 25th May.

At the Queen’s Park Oval, The Leewards Hurricanes soon found themselves in early trouble after winning the toss and batting versus the Windwards.

Only Skipper Jahmar Hamilton hand managed to get to a half century and at 179 for 9, the pundits generally expected the Windwards to be batting in short order.

However, Nevisian allrounder, Colin KEZIE Archibald had other ideas and he teamed up with number 11 Daniel Doram and the pair batted soundly, before Archibald exploded.

The Windwards bowlers and fielders may still be wondering if they were hit by a hurricane or by a tsunami.
Archibald pummeled all of the bowlers, all around the Park and then out of it!

At one time he was on 10 from 30 balls, but when the umpires called stumps, he had thumped his way to a century, from just 96 balls!

Doram on the other hand, remained resolute on 17 not out, in the current partnership of 122
