In the ongoing women’s regional T20 tournament, the Leeward Islands women’s team triumphed over their Jamaican counterparts in a rain-affected match on Monday night, which was reduced to five overs per side.

Jamaica batted first, scoring 48 runs for 2 wickets in their allotted five overs; however, according to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method, their total was adjusted to 51 runs.

In response, the Leeward Islands needed 52 runs for victory and quickly reached 52 for 2 in just 4.5 overs, thanks to a rapid 43 not out from Quiana Joseph, who faced only 19 balls.
