Cricket: National Bank T20 Champions Crowned on Nevis

Charlestown, Nevis – September 27, 2025 —
The finals of the National Bank–sponsored T20 Cricket Tournament were played on Saturday, September 27, bringing an exciting close to the competition with victories for Easterns in the Second Division and All Stars in the First Division.

Second Division Final – Easterns vs Youths of Nevis

Youths of Nevis batted first but were rocked early by the fiery pace of Ulano Smithen, collapsing to 76 all out in 18.1 overs.
Leshawn Weekes top-scored with 20 runs, while Smithen, Sterling Marshall, and Treon Daniel each claimed two wickets.

In reply, Easterns wasted little time chasing down the target. A quick-fire 34 from Hosea Pluck, which included three towering sixes, and a composed 24 not out from Jevon Manners, guided the team to 80 for 2 in just 7.5 overs.
Easterns sealed an emphatic 8-wicket victory to claim the Second Division Championship.

First Division Final – All Stars vs Highlights

In the First Division final, All Stars overpowered Highlights to secure championship honours.
Batting first, All Stars posted a competitive 156 for 6 in 20 overs, led by Kian Pemberton (46), Ross Powell (31), and Karese Farrell (25 not out).
Adrian Williams was the pick of the bowlers for Highlights, finishing with 2 for 35.

Highlights mounted a determined chase but fell short, managing 140 for 7 in their 20 overs. Tjari Clarke led the resistance with a brilliant 61, supported by Mikyle Louis with 32.
For All Stars, Onaje Amory took 3 for 27, while Jamie Cornelius contributed with 2 for 12, helping to restrict the opposition.

All Stars won by 16 runs, lifting the National Bank T20 First Division Championship Trophy.
