Despite placing second to St. Maarten in the recent Luther Kelly over 35 Tournament, held in St. Maarten, the Nevis team actually secured the top individual prizes.
At the closing ceremony, which was held at the conclusion of the grand finals, on Sunday 26th November, the following top awards were presented:
Most runs -143-Marvin Hamilton of Nevis –one 32-inch television set
Most wickets-6 –Jason Campbell of Nevis -one 32-inch television set
(Roy Nisbett of St. Kitts also had 6 wickets but Campbell had a better economy rate)
Best fielder Larry Baptiste of St. Maarten-trophy
Best wicketkeeper-Joel Simmonds of Nevis -trophy
MVP of the tournament-Marvin Hamilton of Nevis –one 32-inch television set
Third place trophy-St. Kitts
Second place trophy-Nevis
Championship trophy-St. Maarten
Special presentations were also made to individuals who have helped to make the tournament a success throughout the years.
