On Sunday 7th April, the New Vision team won against the SDA Jets at the VOJN grounds and secured a spot in the finals of the second division 35 overs competition.
The Jets batted first and managed to score 127 runs, all out in 29.5 overs. Curtis Morton Sr was the top scorer with 30 runs and young Te’Jhani Daniel scored 23 not out. Jevon Manners from the New Vision team picked up four wickets for 30 runs.
New Vision confidently strode in response and scored 132 runs for the loss of two wickets in 17 overs. Tyrell Mills scored 45 runs, Rajani Dida scored 35 runs, and Peter Charles scored 31 not out. Sterling Marshall and Carl Williams from the Jets team got one wicket each.
