Cricket : New Zealand Clinches Series in Commanding Fashion

West Indies fans stayed up late on Thursday night, hopeful that their team would level the T20 series against New Zealand. However, the hosts ensured there would be no repeat of the nail-biting finishes seen earlier in the series.

Batting first, the West Indies were restricted to 140 all out, with Roston Chase (38) and Romario Shepherd (36) offering the main resistance. Jacob Duffy led New Zealand’s bowling attack with an impressive 4 for 35.

In reply, New Zealand made light work of the chase, cruising to 141 for 2 in just 15.4 overs, thanks to Devon Conway (47 not out) and Tim Robinson (45). Shepherd and Springer picked up one wicket apiece for the visitors.

With this dominant performance, New Zealand sealed the series 3–1, demonstrating superior control and consistency throughout the contest.
