Hosea Pluck of Rawlins Village, Nevis, has been included in the Leeward Islands under 17 team that will participate in the regional under 17 tournament, set to commence in Trinidad on Tuesday 19th July.
Pluck represents several teams in the local league: Empire; SDA Jets and Brown Hill.
Several years ago, he was identified by Coach Keith Arthurton, as a special talent and his hard work with the youngster, seems to be bearing fruit.
The full Leewards team was not available up to press time.
Meanwhile, champions Barbados are confident that they will retain the trophy.
