Cricket: Windies Women Fall to Sri Lanka Again

The West Indies Women suffered another setback on Sunday, February 22, going down to the Sri Lanka women’s national cricket team in the second match of their ongoing One-Day International series.

Batting first, the Sri Lanka women’s national cricket team posted a competitive total of 208, setting a challenging target for the visitors.

In response, the West Indies women’s national cricket team fought hard but were restricted to 194, falling short by 14 runs despite a determined effort with the bat.

The result gives Sri Lanka the upper hand heading into the third and final One-Day International, which is scheduled to be played today, Wednesday, February 25.

The Windies Women will be looking to regroup quickly and finish the series on a positive note.
