The Nevis Athletic Stadium Aka the Mondo track was abuzz with activity on Wednesday 25th January.
On that day, the Charlestown Secondary School hosted its field events.
The school’s athletes competed in the Javelin throw, shot put, high jump and long jump.
The age categories were: Under 14; under 16; under 18 and 18 plus.
There was also food on sale and music.
From the look of things, the participants and onlookers thoroughly enjoyed themselves, even as they prepare for their grand sports meet, slated for Sunday 5th February.
The meet will be held under the distinguished patronage of former ace athlete, Lester Blackett.
