CSS STEALS JAHBASS’ JOY

The CSS school boys spoilt the planned party of the Jahbass team when they won the finals of the Jahbass organized ten overs per side tape ball competition.
The match was played at the ET Willet Park on Sunday 15th November.
The Jahbass team batted first and scored 92 for 1 in the allotted 10 overs.
Bernette NUTSY Thompson scored a painstaking 21 runs before he was caught in the 7th over.

Shaheed Tyson was not out on 24 and Tonito Willet gave the innings a well needed boost with a quick fire 27 not out, which included three sixes.
The CSS team got off to a rapid start, complements of Ross Powell and Jamie Cornelius who both played some exciting shots.
However, it was Jelani Tyson with a blistering 41 not out, who really made the difference between the two teams. He struck three sixes and two fours in his exciting knock.

The CSS team completed the run chase in 9.4 overs.
Jahbass in indicating that he is a man of his word, handed over the cash prize of $500.00 to the CSS captain, Jelani Tyson and noted that it would certainly come in handy as the CSS team should be touring Montserrat shortly.
