(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- On Sunday, June 21, 2015, Father’s Day, the Culturama Committee hosted a Fashion Show dubbed ‘Here Meets There’ where the participants for the Ms. Culture Swimwear, the Mr. Kool contest and the Ms. Culture Queen took part in a fashion show at the Caribbean Cove.

Inclement weather may have prevented a huge crowd from attending the pageant. However, it did not put a damper on the contestants who were eager to showcase their modeling skills and physique before the small but vibrant audience.

The show got off to a late start because of the weather but the small crowd that was on hand was in for a treat once the contestants hit the stage.

The fashion show featured outfits from the Federation’s top designers. The contestants hit the runway showcasing locally made outfits and bags from Ms. Yakima Daniel of Kiwie Dan Couture, Vaughn Anslyn and his V-Wear hand painted collection, Ms. Petal Newton and her brand Frisky Fashion, Cavelle Mills in Ziki’s Designs and Ms. Esther Brooks in her designs Green House Production.

The event was hosted by Ms. Alice Tyson and Mr. Noah Mills who both did an exceptionally great job in describing the contestants in their attire as they hit the stage.

Among those in attendance was Chairperson of the Culturama 41, Ms. Deborah Tyrell, and the reigning queen of Culturama 40, Ms. Akiesha Fergus.

Entertainment was provided by Extasy Sound.

The next fashion show is slated to be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Caribbean Cove. This time the contestants will be showcasing outfits from some of the top stores in Nevis.
