Culturama Queen Makes Impact with Swim Program

Culturama Queen 2025, Ms Renee Davis, recently conducted a Learn-to-Swim programme at Oualie Beach in collaboration with James Weekes of the Bring It Swim Club and a member of the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Centre.

Davis explained that the initiative was part of her effort to give back to the community. She noted that although she previously had limited swimming experience, she also learned a great deal during the programme and saw significant improvement in her own swimming ability.

She said one of the most rewarding aspects of the six-week camp was seeing participants who initially arrived afraid of the water leave with the confidence and ability to swim.

For his part, Weekes congratulated the Culturama Queen for her initiative. He said the programme was something “right up his alley” and expressed his pleasure in being able to assist with the training and development of the participants.
