The race is set to commence at 7 am, but participants are kindly asked to be present by 6.30 am for warm-up exercises and final instructions.

The registration fee is only $20.00 per person and male and female bikers aged 16 years and upwards are eligible to compete.

Registered individuals, if they are not representing a club team, will be placed into teams of three.

The males will complete four laps, while the females will have the extra privilege of only completing three laps and will also be given a full minute’s head start ahead of the males.

The route commences at the TDC parking lot on the bay front and the bikers will race down the Samuel Hunkins drive; make a right turn by the Roman Catholic Church; pass the St. Paul’s Anglican church; make a right turn by the former First Caribbean International Bank and head back into the TDC parking lot, in order to complete one lap.

On the completion of each lap, the team members will use their particular pin code and each cyclist will insert the relevant letters in the pin, on completion of each lap, until four laps are completed.

The race is sponsored by the Ricaldo Caines Law firm which has provided the grand rotating trophy, The Nevis Island Administration, Bike Nevis and Nevis Springs Water.

Chief coordinator of the event, Sheilagh James, is imploring the general public to come out and support the bikers, in what promises to be an exciting event.
