DOMINOES ‘BIG ROY’ TO BE LAID TO REST THURSDAY

The recent passing of the late Everette Edroy ‘BIGROY’ Byron, has made waves within the Nevisian community. He was much beloved, especially for his work as a former employee of the Inland Revenue Department and for sports lovers, he would be fondly remembered as the main organizer of Domino tournaments on the island of Nevis.

The name ‘BIGROY’ and Dominoes were synonymous.

He organized the tournaments, whether they were village based; Agriculture fair; SJCIC kite flying …you name it. It was always ‘BIGROY!”

He also secured sponsorship for the various prizes and everyone who competed, generally left happy after each contest.

‘BIG ROY’ having played his last double six, will be buried on Thursday 7th April. The funeral service will be held at the Gingerland Methodist church, starting at 2.00 pm.

Interment will be at the St. George’s Parish cemetery.

Pastor Euclid Lawrence of Crossroad Community Church, will be the officiating Pastor.
