Donald Trump travelled from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to New York on Monday before turning himself in to Manhattan prosecutors for historic criminal charges.

Trump is facing criminal charges after a grand jury indicted him over the alleged payment of “hush money” to adult film actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
He is the first former American president to face criminal charges in history.
