Drug bust in St Maarten nets cocaine and four men

Basseterre, St Kitts, July 14, 2019 – Reports Sunday out of Philipsburg, St Maarten, that four men have been arrested in a drug bust.
According to SMN News, the Coast Guard and other law enforcement officers on St. Maarten hauled in some 450 kilos of cocaine in St. Maarten waters.
At least four men believed to be from the BVI are in custody, SMN News said.
It said the Coast Guards are very tight-lipped on the case.
“The only thing SMN News was told that St. Maarten Coast Guards are busy working on a case and that later today they will make an announcement,” the news media stated.
