The police are currently investigating a fatal traffic accident.
The incident took place on April 28th, 2024, between 4 AM and 5 AM on Newtown Bay Road, near the SOL fuel facility.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found EMS technicians tending to a man named Marlon Francis.
He was immediately taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for medical care.
Unfortunately, Mr Francis passed away from his injuries shortly after.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into the incident is now underway, and the public will be informed of any updates.
