The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred along the Island Main Road at Almond Walk/Belle Vue at approximately 9 p.m. on November 25, 2025.
The collision involved two motor pickups driven by Steve Taylor and Andre Patrick, both residents of Saddlers, St. Kitts. Preliminary investigations indicate that both vehicles were travelling west toward Belle Vue, with Mr Patrick’s vehicle ahead. As Mr Taylor’s pickup exited the corner entering Belle Vue from the Tabernacle direction, it collided with the rear of Mr Patrick’s vehicle.
Mr Taylor sustained severe injuries as a result of the impact. Emergency Medical Services and the Tabernacle Fire & Rescue Services responded, and he was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Mr Patrick suffered only minor injuries.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the accident site and collected items of evidential value. The investigation remains ongoing, and the RSCNPF will provide updates as new information becomes available.
