(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- On the evening of Tuesday, September 20, 2016 the island of Nevis received the devastating news that a teenager was shot and tragically killed.
The tragic incident took place in Rawlins Village, Gingerland between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m.
The victim is sixteen year old Ozanii Maynard, a resident of Hanley’s Road Nevis. It is alleged that the victim received about six gunshots about the body and succumbed to his injuries.
Maynard’s casualty brings the number of murders in the Federation to 24 so far for 2016.
Police is currently investigating the incident.
