Five Cruise Ships Call at St. Kitts on Friday; Four More Scheduled for Saturday

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Five cruise ships visited St. Kitts on Friday, bringing a total of 8,473 passengers to the island and contributing to another active day for the local cruise tourism sector.

Four vessels—Wind Spirit, Costa Pacifica, Marella Discovery, and Celebrity Ascent—berthed at Port Zante, while the Star Flyer anchored off Carambola.

The Costa Pacifica, arriving from Guadeloupe with 3,190 passengers, later departed for Tortola. The Marella Discovery arrived from Dominica with 1,798 passengers and subsequently sailed for Antigua. Meanwhile, the Celebrity Ascent, carrying 3,278 passengers, arrived from St. Lucia.

Cruise activity is expected to continue on Saturday, with four ships scheduled to call at Port Zante: Koningsdam, Odyssey of the Seas, Costa Fascinosa, and Norwegian Gem.
