Five Nevisians in Carifta Team

The much anticipated release of the 2019 St. Kitts-Nevis Carifta team, has been made by the SKNAAAA.
According to President of the Association, Mr. Val Henry, five of the athletes actually made the required qualification mark and the others did not quite make it, but were extremely close.
The squad comprises of two officials and 13 athletes.
Five of the team members are from Nevis: Alexander Caines, Leroy Chapman, Que’Leel Roberts, Akadianto Willett and K-Marley Newton-Roberts
The full squad reads:
Trishanie Warner; Demitri Browne, Zharia Allers, Jahnazza Francis, Cadeau Straun, Sharim Hamilton, Alexander Caines, Leroy Chapman, Tijuanique Morton, Que’Leel Roberts, K-Anthony Benjamin, Akadianto Willett and K-Marley Newton-Roberts.
Team St. Kitts and Nevis will compete in such events as Long Jump, 200M, 400H, 800M, Javelin, 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay.
The team leaves for the Cayman Islands on Friday 12th April and is expected to return on Tuesday 23rd April.
