On the evening of Saturday 16th April, a very exciting Football game was played at the Nevis Athletic Stadium aka The Mondo track.
On that evening, the local team, Bath United, engaged the visiting Young Warriors team out of Antigua.
Very early into the first half, Bath United struck the back of the net.
However, the visitors rallied to keep the score to a 1 to nil margin, right up to the dying moments of the game, with both teams missing scoring opportunities, in the interim.
With seconds to go in the game, however, the visitors made a blunder in negotiating a corner kick and Bath United sunk home a second shot, to seal the deal from 2 goals to nil.
