Cap Cana, Punta Cana (August 17, 2026) – Match Day 2 of the 2026 CFU U14 Challenge Series—Boys delivered a string of impressive performances.

TIER I

Group A

Dominican Republic Open with 5-0 Victory

The Dominican Republic made a convincing start to Group A play, cruising to a 5-0 victory over Martinique.

Rickelme Jimenez Lora led the way with a brace, while Pedro Ramirez and Jaime Javier Diaz Pena also found the net. An own goal compounded Martinique’s misery as the Dominican Republic completed a comprehensive victory.

In the other Group A encounter, Barbados and Bermuda battled to a 1-1 draw.

Demario Hewitt put Barbados ahead in the 16th minute, but Bermuda responded through Cairo Burgess in the 32nd minute. Neither side could find a winner, so they shared the points.

Group B

Trinidad and Tobago and Puerto Rico Battle to 1-1 Draw

Trinidad and Tobago and Puerto Rico played to an entertaining 1-1 draw in their Group B encounter.

Trinidad and Tobago took the lead in the fifth minute when Hasheem Salandy found the back of the net with a superb strike.

Puerto Rico responded strongly after the interval, with Josiah Albino leveling the score just four minutes into the second half with another well-taken strike.

Both teams battled hard for the remainder of the match, but neither could find a decisive goal.

Other Tier I Results

Haiti Victorious Over French Guiana 5-2

Haiti produced one of the day’s most impressive attacking performances, defeating French Guiana 5-2 behind a sensational four-goal performance from Jodeley Sheeck Delmas.

Haiti opened the scoring in the 10th minute when Wensley Dumorne delivered a cross into the area, with Jerry Petit-Homme smashing his effort into the roof of the net.

Petit-Homme then turned provider in the 26th minute, floating a free kick into the area for Delmas, who volleyed home to make it 2-0.

French Guiana pulled one back from the penalty spot through Railey Jean Marie, but Delmas restored Haiti’s two-goal advantage in the 41st minute with a spectacular free kick from a difficult angle.

Haiti were awarded another penalty in the 44th minute, but Ronelson Pele Janvier saw his effort saved by French Guiana goalkeeper Dos Anjos.

Delmas completed his hat-trick moments later, taking a touch after a short corner before driving inside and unleashing a powerful strike.

French Guiana reduced the deficit again when Railey Berg Jean Louis reacted quickest to a loose ball in the penalty area.

Delmas saved his best for last, completing his four-goal performance with a spectacular long-range strike from outside the penalty area to seal Haiti’s 5-2 victory.

Curaçao and Aruba Share the Points

Curaçao and Aruba played to a 1-1 draw in a closely contested encounter.

Curaçao took the lead after Aruba goalkeeper Steven del Rosario was unable to control a back pass, allowing Mirayshelo Maccay to pounce. His effort struck the upright before finding the back of the net.

Aruba eventually found their equaliser through Carlos Tristan Vrolijk, who reacted quickest after the Curaçao goalkeeper parried Jean-Paul Kelly’s initial effort.

Neither side could find a winning goal as the match ended 1-1.

Group C

Jamaica Cruise to 4-0 Victory

Jamaica, playing in Group C, cruised to a 4-0 victory over St. Kitts and Nevis.

Tea-Sean Headley was the standout performer, scoring twice in the 36th and 42nd minutes. Kylon Gayle and Malike Parker also found the net to complete a dominant Jamaican performance.

TIER II

Group D

St. Lucia Defeat US Virgin Islands 7-0

St. Lucia produced the biggest victory of the day, romping to a commanding 7-0 win over the US Virgin Islands.

Shem Ishmael opened the scoring in the 10th minute and doubled the advantage in the 43rd minute.

Substitute Anaj Polius added a third shortly afterwards, before Adan Adjodha extended the lead to 4-0 in the 45th minute.

Leon Vidal converted from the penalty spot two minutes later to make it 5-0, while Khairi Elibox added a sixth in the 61st minute.

Vidal completed his brace in the 70th minute to seal St. Lucia’s emphatic 7-0 victory.

In the other Group D encounter, Grenada and Suriname battled to a 1-1 draw.

Aaquil Cumberbatch gave Grenada an early lead in the fourth minute with a powerful strike, but Alexander Alberga equalized for Suriname in the 55th minute to secure a share of the points.

Group C

Bahamas Cruise Past Montserrat 5-0

The Bahamas continued their impressive run with a dominant 5-0 victory over Montserrat.

Kai McIntosh opened the scoring in the eighth minute after being played through on goal, calmly finishing his one-on-one opportunity.

Captain Dirk Simmons doubled the advantage in the 16th minute with a powerful long-range strike.

McIntosh then completed his brace in the 33rd minute, again finishing calmly after breaking through on goal.

Aiden Bannister added a fourth in the 48th minute, reacting quickest to a rebound after the Montserrat goalkeeper made the initial save.

Mathis Burnas completed the scoring in the 52nd minute from an indirect free kick after the Montserrat goalkeeper was penalized for touching the ball twice from a goal kick.

The Bahamas completed a comprehensive 5-0 victory and continued to showcase their attacking quality.

Guyana Make It Two Wins from Two with 4-1 Victory

Guyana continued their strong start to the competition with a convincing 4-1 victory over Anguilla, making it two wins from two in Group C.

Aaron Christopher Vasconcellos opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the eighth minute before doubling Guyana’s advantage in the 24th minute with a composed finish following a cross.

Anguilla responded in the 31st minute when Jacob Fleming pounced on a loose ball and smashed his effort into the roof of the net.

Guyana restored their two-goal advantage just before half-time when Dane Level Vancooten converted from the penalty spot in the 35th minute.

Substitute Wyatt Fernandes then delivered a cross for Cavon Peters, who produced a sharp near-post finish to complete the scoring.

Guyana’s 4-1 victory secured their second win from two matches, while Anguilla remain without a victory after their opening two games.

Group B

Cayman Islands Bounce Back with 4-1 Win

The Cayman Islands bounced back in Group B with an impressive 4-1 victory over the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Jayce Ebanks opened the scoring in the ninth minute before Kenardenio doubled the advantage in the 16th minute.

Tennyson Tyrese Taylor pulled one back for Turks & Caicos in the 45th minute, giving his team a lifeline.

The Cayman Islands restored their two-goal cushion when Toby Bell produced a sensational long-distance strike, before Trey Webster completed the scoring at the end of regulation time.

Antigua and Barbuda Stay Perfect

Antigua and Barbuda made it two wins from two with a 2-1 victory over Dominica.

Tevon Henderson gave Antigua and Barbuda an early lead before Jaiydon Victor brought Dominica level.

Kalique Martin then scored the decisive goal to secure all three points.

The victory keeps Antigua and Barbuda at the top of Group B with a perfect six points from two matches.

Group A

St. Martin Sweep Aside Bonaire 4-0

St. Martin produced a commanding performance in Group A, defeating Bonaire 4-0.

Hemmeric Deseya opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a calm finish.

Captain Laurieindo Dormoy doubled the advantage in the 55th minute before Deseya struck again in the 60th minute to complete his brace.

Just one minute later, Nolan Leconte added a fourth to seal a convincing St. Martin victory.

SVG Defeat BVI 2-0

St. Vincent and the Grenadines secured a 2-0 victory over the British Virgin Islands.

Amalle Lavia broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute and remained a constant threat after the break, doubling the advantage in the 36th minute to complete his brace.

SVG held on comfortably to secure all three points.
