The Nevis Football Association’s challenge cup continued at the Nevis Athletic stadium, on the evening of Sunday 1st October.
In game one, Hardtimes came up against Don’t Rush FC –the Dominica team.
In their last outing versus Bronx, the Dominicans were squashed 6 goals to Nil.
This time around, however, they appeared more energized and determined to excel.
As a matter of fact, they had the better exchanges for most of the first half, until a slight shower came, just about 10 minutes to the end of the half and Hardtimes put in three goals in that period.
In the second half, the Dominicans again looked the better team for the early exchanges, even hitting the back of the net, but allowed another goal to the Hardtimes men, to make a final score of 4 goals to 1, in favour of Hard times
