Mantab showed promise during the SKNFA Division 1 season that they could earn promotion to the Premier League. But despite a relatively good season, they missed out on the big prize.
Andre Huie in reviewing the MANTAB’s 2022 year noted that they showed the potential to move from the Division one league into the premier league but failed when it mattered most, losing to Sandy Point FC and thus failing to make the finals.
Coach Vaughn Patrick did not mince matters: “If you don’t put in the work, you can’t get the results,” he said.
He indicated that some of the players were not regular at practice and training sessions and therefore could not expect better results.
He is however hoping for a better year this year.
