Football | SKN Under-20s Earn Hard-Fought Draw, Remain in Group B Contention

The St. Kitts and Nevis national under-20 football team were forced to settle for a share of the points on Friday after playing to a 1–1 draw with the Bonaire national football team in their third Group B outing at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship qualification.

Seeking back-to-back victories, St. Kitts and Nevis started brightly and were rewarded in the first half when in-form striker Savi-K Morton broke the deadlock. His clinical finish gave SKN a deserved lead at the interval and marked his second goal of the tournament, following his earlier strike in Wednesday’s convincing 3–0 win over the Cayman Islands national football team.

Bonaire responded with determination after the break and eventually found the equaliser in the second half, denying SKN maximum points despite a disciplined overall performance.

With the result, St. Kitts and Nevis now sit on four points and remain firmly in contention as the group stage continues.
