The fifth round of the National Bank-sponsored Primary Schools Football Tournament delivered plenty of excitement at the ET Willet Park on Sunday, October 18, with Charlestown Primary extending its winning run, St. James’ Primary celebrating a tournament milestone, and Nevis Academy’s William Guy marking his birthday with a match-winning goal.

League leaders Charlestown Primary (CPS) continued their impressive form with a commanding 6–1 victory over St. James’ Primary (STJPS), who sit at the bottom of the standings. Despite the heavy defeat, St. James’ Primary had reason to celebrate, scoring their first goal of the tournament.

Kaden Williams was also in outstanding form for Ivor Walters Primary School (IWPS), netting a hat-trick in his team’s 4–0 victory over Elizabeth Pemberton’s Primary School (EPPS). Kamari Saddler added the fourth goal to complete a comfortable win.

Violet O. Jeffers Nicholls Primary School (VOJN) secured a narrow 1–0 victory over St. Thomas’ Primary School (STPS), with Zander Nisbett scoring the decisive goal.

In another closely contested encounter, Nevis Academy (NA) edged Montessori 1–0, courtesy of William Guy’s goal. The strike was especially memorable, as Guy found the net on his birthday to secure all three points for his team.

Joycelyn Liburd Primary School (JLPS) claimed a 2–1 victory over Maude Cross Preparatory School (MCPS). Remiel Christmas and K’Ronjae Liburd scored for JLPS, while Aamir Huggins-Delashley found the net for MCPS.
