Four Nevisians in Leeward Island Female Squad -Two in Reserves

News has been received that the Leeward Islands female cricket squad, has been selected for the upcoming regional female cricket championship, slated to commence in St. Kitts on Monday 8th May.

Four Nevisians have been included, following good performances in the recently concluded Leeward Island’s female championship.

The four players are Saneldo Willet, Melecia Clarke, Rozel Liburd and Davonique Maynard.

Martha Dookhan and Asheena Freeman are in the reserves.

However, all six players joined the preparation camp in St. Kitts on Sunday.

Saneldo Willet -capt; Amanda Edwards v-capt; Kimberly Anthony; Terez Parker; Tonya Martin; Melicia Clarke; Davanna Claxton; Tynetta McKoy; Rozel Liburd; Davronique Maynard; Jahzara Claxton; Cheyanne Moses; Divya Saxena (Canada) and Jenisen Richards

Reserves
Asheena Freeman; Keshanna Huggins and Martha Dookhan

The final match of the Leewards tournament scheduled between Antigua & Barbuda and St. Kitts, was rained out.
This effectively left Antigua & Barbuda as the T-20 champions, while Nevis previously won the 50 overs tournament.
