Geradine Bartlette Celebrates 98

Charlestown- Nevis- She may be blind but she is still quite verbose and willing to give sound advice to all who are willing to listen.
Ms. Geradine Bartlette of Craddock Road was in her element on Wednesday 10th February, the day she celebrated her 98th birthday. Dressed in her red and white, on the eve of valentine, the celebrant warmly welcomed a number of persons who showed up at her home, to celebrate the significant day with her.
Among those present was the Hon. Hazel Brandy- Williams who spoke to the many contributions made by the celebrant to the welfare of the community. She also presented her with a fruit basket complements of the Ministry of Social Development and the City Drug Store.
Also present at the brief ceremony were Miss D.Michelle Liburd, Asst. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Social Development and Mrs. Kim Singh, Deputy Director at the Department of Social Services
