It was a glorious battle between two houses, as Green house and Blue house faced off at the annual Combermere Preschool sports meet.
The event was held at the VOJN grounds on Wednesday 15th March, under the patronage of parent, Mr. Bevon Wallace.
The energetic preschoolers competed in the flat races; lime and spoon; socks and shoes; bucket and ball; tyre races and more.
There were smiles in celebration and tears in defeat but all in all, the fair sized crowd was well and truly entertained.
The parents even got into the act later in the day, as they too had a few races of their own.
At the end of the highly competitive event, the final scores were:
Green House-267 points-champions
Blue house -261 points
