The VOJN Primary School, held its annual sports meet at its nearby grounds, on Friday, February 21, 2020.
The distinguished patron for the day was Mr. Javal Stapleton.
The march past was won by the Gold house team and then the athletes entertained the fair-sized crowd on hand in such races as the 400; 300; 150; 200; 800; 1200; 60 and 100 meters. There were also a few fun races for the smaller children.
Just to show how the scores see-sawed all afternoon, prior to the start of the 100 meters events, the scores were:
Blue house-232 points
Green house -229 points
Gold house -208 points
However, after the 100 meters and the 4×400 meters relays, Green edged away to take the championship title.
Final scores:
Green house -317 points-champions
Blue house-301 points
Gold house-275 points.
