Tunda, as he is affectionately known, succumbed to illness at the Alexandra Hospital.

Maynard was a vibrant member of the Nevisian community at large and was well known island wide. He worked for 30 years at S . Hunkins & Sons, and was also an avid fisherman in his spare time. Above all however, he was a faithful follower of Christ and worshipped at the Pentecostal Church at Marion Height, where he was an active member. He drove the church bus for many years.

Maynard leaves to mourn his wife, six children, two grandchildren, five sisters, four brothers, and a host of friends.

His brother, James ‘Bukra’ Maynard, predeceased him in 2014.
