The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating a shooting death that occurred on the morning of June 6 th, 2023.
The incident occurred between 6 AM and 7 AM. Law enforcement responded to reports of gunshots on the F.T. Williams Highway in the vicinity of La Guerite.
Upon arrival at the scene, forty-seven (47)-year-old Alden“OJ” Maynard of Gillard Meadows was found motionless in his vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds about his body.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and collected materials of evidential value.
The investigation is ongoing and the general public will be kept abreast of its progress accordingly. The RSCNPF expresses sincere condolences to all who have been negatively impacted by this occurrence. —
