We concluded our World Post Day 2025 celebrations by proudly honouring Nevis’ two newest centenarians with commemorative stamps issued in their names: Mrs Geraldine Simmonds-Berry of Rices Village and Mrs Evelyn Albertha Browne of Cotton Ground, whose stamp was accepted on her behalf by her daughter, Carmen Browne.
Their remarkable 100 years of life remind us of the enduring power of letters, parcels, and messages to connect generations across time and distance. Through service, resilience, and community spirit, they have witnessed a century of change—carried forward, in many ways, through the work of the postal service.
May their lives continue to inspire us to cherish every knock on the door, every stamp affixed, and every message sent—each one a bridge linking our history to a brighter tomorrow.
