Horse Riding

The fourth annual horse riding camp for children, got underway at the Nevis Equestrian Center, on Monday 26th July and will run until Friday 20th August.

According to an official at the popular Horse riding facility, Miss Kayli Walters, the camp caters to 3 to 12-year-olds and 12 to 16-year-olds.

During the fun-filled weeks, the children will be taught basic riding skills; learn to differentiate between the various types of saddles-whether English or Western saddles; learn to saddle a horse and place reins properly; learn to clean and wash horses and learn to shoe horses, among other things.

They will also be taught interesting facts about the other animals that are at the farm as well.
Interested parents can register their children at just $25.00 per week and that includes water and snacks provided for the children.
