Bath Village, Nevis – August 24 – The Hot Springs Bath United Football Club brought its annual summer camp to a successful close on Sunday, August 24, with a ceremony held at the Bath Village Playfield.
The event was chaired by Coach Alex Claxton, who praised the ongoing and generous support of the MV Apple Syder and its owners, Frank and Desery Tyson. He noted that their contributions have played a vital role in the continued success of the club’s youth development programs.
Mrs. Desery Tyson also addressed the gathering, pledging that she and her husband will continue to support the club’s initiatives well into the future.
In recognition of their participation, all children attending the camp were presented with certificates of achievement, along with school bags filled with supplies—generously donated by the Tysons—as they prepare to return to school next week.
The closing ceremony marked not only the end of another successful camp but also highlighted the strong community spirit and partnerships that continue to nurture young talent through sport.
