Report Of Arrests, Convictions And Other Activities

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 23, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period July 03-17 2018.

ARRESTS AND BAIL:

Arrested: Dexter Huggins of La Guerite was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Building Breaking and Larceny. 

Arrested: Lashaun Hendrickson of Buckley’s Extension, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. 

Arrested: Alfred Heyliger of Upper Shaw Avenue was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Wounding.

Arrested: Anthony Francis of Taylors Range was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny.     

Arrested: Evan Daniel of Parsons was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Malicious Damage.

Arrested: Jason Webster of Parsons Ground was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm.

Arrested: A man from the Basseterre area was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

Arrested: Anthony Warner of Farms Site, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Housebreaking and Larceny.

Arrested/Bailed: Ronley Woods of Newtown Ground was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Uttering a Forged Document. He was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 for this appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 01, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Kishorn Gordon of Farm Housing Project was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 15, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Devorn Herbert of Bird Rock was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Refusing to Give Name. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on September 13, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Michael Berkley of Trafalgar Village, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on September 13, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Jahmal Heath of Cardin Avenue, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis , Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Carrying Abroad an Offensive Weapon to wit a Knife. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on  August 13, 2018

Arrested/Bailed: Vaughan Parris of Prickley Pear Alley was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Indecent Language and Disorderly Conduct. He was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018. 

Arrested/Bailed: Shavon Earl of Stoney Grove was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis. He was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on July 17, 2018. 

Arrested/Bailed: Rijkaard Hughes of Spooners was arrested formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 17, 2018. 

Arrested/Bailed: Clive Malone of St. Pauls was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 17, 2018. 

Arrested/Bailed: Shedrack Dawson of Cayon was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 17, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Patrick Greene of Cayon was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 17, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Komal Sharma of Wades Garden was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without Insurance and Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 03, 2018. 

Arrested/Bailed: Javid Akim Warner of Middle Island/Cabbage Tree, Cayon was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without Insurance, Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 02, 2018

Arrested/Bailed: Jenivor Babu of Bird Rock was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 02, 2018.

Arrested: Devon Parris of Stoney Grove was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.

Arrested: Conrad Clarke of Newtown was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Unlawful Possession.

Arrested/Bailed: Calvin Richards of Green Tree Project was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving an Unlicenced Vehicle and Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the District “B” Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Royden Gumbs of Middle Island was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Uttering a Forged Document. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018 with the condition that he is to report to the Old Road Police Station every Monday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Bailed: O’Shane Colbourne of Trafalgar Village, who was arrested for the offence of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm, was granted bail in the sum of $25,000 with the conditions that he is to: (1) surrender all travel documents; (2) report to the Basseterre Police Station on Mondays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and (3) stay away from the Virtual Complainant.

Bailed:  Verez Dore of Bath Village, who was formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving Without Insurance, was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on July 24, 2018.

COURT CONVICTIONS:

In matters at the District “A” Magistrate Court, presided over by His Honour Mr. Reynold Benjamin, the following were reported:

– Desiree Ryan of Manchester Avenue was convicted and fined $150 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve (5) days in prison for the offence of Driving Without a Vaild and Unexpired Driver’s Licence; 

– Curtis Duncan of Middle Island was cautioned and convicted for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention;

– Great Eqesimba of Cunningham Street was convicted and fined $1,000 to be paid in one (1) month or, in default, serve six (6) weeks in prison for the offence of Driving Without Insurance.

– David Greenaway of Lower Cayon was convicted and fined $250 to be paid forthwith or, in default, serve seven (7) days in prison for the offence of Driving with Tinted Windows;

– Akim Henderson of Park View Housing, Saddlers was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in one (1) day or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for the offence of Driving with Tinted Windows; 

– Brain Joseph of Shadwell Housing was convicted and cautioned for the offence of Driving with Tinted Windows.

In matters at the District ‘B” Magistrate Court, presided over by Her Honour Mrs. Karen Hector, the following were reported:

– Elton Moses pleaded guilty and was fined $100 for not being covered by insurance, $100 for Driving an Unregistered  Vehicle, $100 for Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s Licence and $600 for Driving Without Due Care and Attention to be paid in thirty (30) days or, in default, serve thirty (30) days in prison. 

– Julian Rubaine was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention and was fined $600 to be paid in twenty-eight (28) days or, in default, serve thirty (30) days in prison.

– Kezenel Maynard of Rawlins Village, St Paul’s was convicted and fined $150 to be paid by July 06, 2018 for allowing a passenger to drive in the front seat of a vehicle without a seat belt or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison;

– Chad Demming of Half Way Tree was convicted and fined $150 to be paid by July 06, 2018 for operating a vehicle when the front seat passenger was not adequately restrained by a seat belt or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison;

– Jornel Rogers of Sandy Point was convicted and fined $200 to be paid by July 07, 2018 for the offence of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving Without Insurance or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison; 

– Kadeem Warner of Newton Ground was convicted and fined $150 to be paid by July 06, 2018 for the offence of Driving Without Seat Belt or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison;

– Aldain Daniel of The Gulf, West Farm was convicted and fined $150 to be paid by July 06, 2018 for the offence of Driving Without Seat Belt or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison; 

– Kelvis Wilkin of Crab Hill, Sandy Point was convicted and fined $150 to be paid by July 06, 2018 for the offence of Driving Without Seat Belt or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison;

– Deshorn Peets of New Road Housing was convicted and fined $150 to be paid by July 06, 2018 for the offence of Driving Without a Seat Belt or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison;

– Elston Caines of Station Street, Old Road was convicted and fined $150 to be paid by July 06, 2018 for the offence of Driving Without Seat Belt or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison. 

– Clifford Ible of Clico Development, Douglas Estate was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Without Seatbelt;

– Etienne Henry of Lodge Project was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Without the Relevant Licence;

– Donald Caines of Taylors Village was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Without the Relevant Licence;

– Jeanille Osborne of Boyds Project was convicted and fined $150 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve five (5) days in prison for Failing to Comply WithTraffic Sign;

– Nadia Maynard of Infirmary Road was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Without the Relevant Licence;

– Sean O’Flaherty of Sandy Point was convicted and cautioned for Driving Without Seatbelt;

– Tevine Coker of Bird Rock was convicted and fined $150 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Failing to Comply with a Traffic Sign;

– Bernard Browne of New Road was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Without Seatbelt;

– Vincia Matthew of Molineaux was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Without Seatbelt;

– Giselle Matthew of Frigate Bay was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve seven (7) days in prison for Failing to Place Licence Sticker on Windshield;

– Karen Douglas of Sandy Point was convicted and cautioned for Driving Without Due Care and Attention 

– Zaccel Charles of Cayon was convicted and cautioned for Driving Without Due Care and Attention;

Jamal Sack of Fiennes Avenue was convicted and fined $750 to be paid in four (4) months or, in default, serve four (4) months in prison for Driving Without Insurance;

– Stanequa Henry of New Road was convicted and cautioned for Driving Without Due Care and Attention.

– Alston Mitchum of Cayon was convicted and fined $150 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Off the Bus Route.

– Great Egesimba of Upper Cayon was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve three (3) days in prison for Driving Without a Seatbelt, 

– Zaeed Charles of Cayon was convicted and fined $200 to be paid in three (3) days or, in default, serve (3) days in prison for Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s Licence. 

Clive Martin of Greenlands was convicted and fined on the following matters; (i) convicted and fined $150 to be paid in one (1) month or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days in prison for Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s Licence; (ii) convicted and fined $750 to be paid in two (2) months or, in default, serve two (2) months in prison for Driving Without Insurance; and (iii) convicted and fined $150 to be paid in one (1) month for Driving Without Valid or Unexpired Driver’s Licence. 

– Tristan Richardson of Harry Phipps, Halfway Tree was convicted and cautioned for Driving with Blue Lighted Lamps.

– Leroy Eddy of Willets Village, St. Pauls was convicted and fined $400 to be paid in six (6) weeks or, in default, serve one (1) month in prison for Driving Without Due Care and Attention.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Marijuana Plants Uprooted: Officers from District “B” reported that they uprooted two thousand and fifty-nine (2,359) mature marijuana plants ranging from one (1) foot to thirteen (13) feet in height and three hundred and nine (309) seedlings. 

Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Brown Hill Village, Bath Village, Saddlers, Cherry Garden, Cotton Ground, Stoney Grove, Saddlers, Upper Shaw Avenue, Nevis Street and Herbert Street.

Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Walwyn Street, Ponds Pasture, Conaree Village, Upper Cayon, Ottleys, Stoney Grove, Bouncing Hill (Sandy Point)  and Bath Village.
