The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School (EPPS), held its annual sports meet on Tuesday 26th February, under the patronage of Mrs. Icis Morton-Archibald.
The athletes participated in the 400, 200; 800; 100, 4×100; 4×400 meters races, along with the hurdles and some fun races.
It was an extremely windy day but the combination of the athletes competing fiercely on the track and the entertainment value provided by commentators-Hon. Eric Evelyn; Ras Della and Lester Liburd, certainly served to warm the hearts of the many persons who showed up for the event.
Interestingly, as the final race of the day neared its conclusion, down came a heavy shower of rain that effectively brought an abrupt end to the proceedings.
