Illegal Dumping at Bath Stream

Charlestown –Nevis-Despite the best efforts by the Environemntal Health division and the NSWA, in educating the general public of Nevis on methods to improve on the disposal of Refuse generated on the island, there are still persons who insist on disposing of waste materials indiscriminately.
garbage2The materials seen in the attached photo were seen at the upper end of the popular and much used Bath Stream on Tuesday 15th September, shortly after the island would have received consistent rainfall throughout the day.
Members of the general public are kindly asked to desist from such indiscriminate dumping of waste materials and are at the same time reminded that the there are indeed penalties written in law for such actions.
