Illegal Firearm and Ammunition Recovered During Police Patrol in Nevis

Newcastle, Nevis :
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has recovered an illegal firearm and ammunition during a routine patrol operation conducted in the Newcastle area of Nevis.

Officers on patrol discovered one (1) Taurus Millennium G2 9mm pistol, loaded with ten (10) rounds of matching ammunition. The weapon and ammunition were found concealed on a lot of land housing an active construction site.

At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the discovery. However, the RSCNPF’s Crime Scene Unit has processed the location and secured several items of evidential value for forensic analysis. The firearm and ammunition are now in police custody.

An active investigation is ongoing. The RSCNPF continues to urge members of the public to provide any information that may assist these or related cases. Individuals with relevant details are encouraged to contact the nearest police station or use the anonymous crime reporting channels.

This latest seizure reflects the ongoing commitment of the RSCNPF to combat illegal firearms and enhance public safety throughout the Federation.
