The Class of 2009—both those at home and those abroad—stepped up in a big way. After a simple visit and conversation with the staff of the Ivor Walters Primary School earlier this term, it became clear that the classrooms were in need of additional fans.
There was no campaign, no fundraising push, no pleading required. One conversation, one text message, nineteen immediate “yeses,” and just a few weeks later, our class was proud to donate ten fans to support the learning environment at our beloved alma mater.
It’s incredible to realise that we are now in a position to give back meaningfully to the school and community that helped shape who we are today. The Ivor Walters Primary School laid the foundation for our growth, discipline, and success, and it is an honour to return in support.
We encourage other graduating classes to visit the school and make their own contributions—no matter how small, it all makes a difference.
Thank you for welcoming us, IWPS.
