The Ivor Walters Primary School are the Champion of Primary Schools’ Cricket on Nevis.
This feat was accomplished on Friday, 11th July, at the Ramsbury Grounds as dozens of individuals showed up to witness the grand finals in the 2025 Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools’ cricket tournament.
The two teams in focus were the Maude Cross Preparatory School 9 (leaders in the preliminary rounds) and defending champions, the Ivor Walters Primary School.
The Maude Cross team batted first and, led by Skipper Rozen Daniel, managed 61 for 8 in their allotted 15 overs.
The Ivor Walters team, after an initial stutter, overhauled the target in the 8th over to seize the coveted champions’ trophy.
